CREST Simulated Emergency Test

A Simulated Emergency Test will be conducted by Crest Communications to evaluate overall response capability during a "mock" emergency situation.  This event will be evaluated and be used to determine future training requirements for upgrading team availability and improving individual / group performance during similar situations.  

The following information is available as of this update:  

DATE 25 August 2001 / Saturday 
TIME 09:00 - 11:00 (9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) 
FREQUENCY 462-675 MHz / RUG Channel 1 
PUBLIC The public is invited to participate!!  Please "listen in" via any radio scanner on 462.675 MHz.  Your scanner will then be able to hear SET operations as this event unfolds.  

A special SET2001 e-mail address will be activated at 08:45 hours and will remain on line throughout the event.  It will be de-activated promptly at 11:00 hours. 

Each submission to this address will be acknowledged via an auto-reply message.  No messages sent to our team e-mail address will be used during this event.

Additional frequencies may be required / identified during SET operations.
