Convention Planners remain focused on providing an information-rich
event that will excite REACT members new and old at every age
level. Whether you are a brand new member and looking to find
out more about our REACT organization or a more
"experienced" member that "been around the
block" and just looking for new ideas on "what's new"
in REACT ... you won't leave disappointed.
The Ayres Suites
creates the perfect environment for "getting down the
business" and spending a few short days enriching yourself with
ideas on how to "re-energize" your team after you return,
or discover some creative ideas on recruiting, retention and
increasing the professionalism of your team.
Don't Forget Networking
Computer technology has increased dramatically in our organization
and continues to play a powerful role on our information management
operations. Those who have Internet e-Mail (electronic mail)
rely heavily on message capability that can travel to destinations
around the world in only a few seconds. That same technology
is used to create the diverse articles and interesting pictures we
see in each issue of "the REACTer" when
delivered to us.
But there is a lot more to REACT than just technology. The
desktops and laptops we use are just "tools" to share our
ideas and information. Behind those ideas and information,
however, are people. And every
REACT convention -- in the end -- is about people.
Networking has always been an important part of our REACT success,
and that will continue as it plays a dominant role in the success of
our 2005 convention. It is an opportunity to meet people
you've only met "via e-mail" or on the telephone.
It's the perfect time to meet and discuss some article or idea you
read about.
But every convention attendee should not leave without meeting lots
of new faces and learning more about other teams and councils, their
successes and challenges.
